- Do you have the most recent driver versions?
- Are the most recent windows updates installed?
- Give detailed description of your problem!
- State which version of the game exactly you're using (DRM-free DVD? Digital copy from STEAM? ...?)
- Choose a telling title for your thread/post ("need help !!11!" is NOT useful)
- A plus would be a screenshot of the error message (Print key and then paste in a graphic program)
- Create dxdiag.txt and ms32info.txt and attach it to your post so that we can classify your system:
Direct X diagnosis:
To create the DxDiag.txt, please do the following:- Run DXDIAG.EXE from your Start menu (click Start, Run... then type "dxdiag" and hit Enter)
- Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window
- Save the file as "dxdiag.txt"
- Attach the file "dxdiag.txt" to your post ("Manage Attachments" in the post editor)
Systeminfo:
To create the MSInfo32.txt, please do the following:- Run MSINFO32.EXE from your Start menu (click Start, Run... then type "msinfo32" and hit Enter)
- Click the "Export to txt" button.
- Export the file as "Msinfo32.txt" (do not save it as an system-nfo file).
- Attach the file "Msinfo32.txt" to your post ("Manage Attachments" in the post editor)
