1. MAIN FEATURES.
- The game still will be RPG/RTS hybid.
- There will be a 30 hours lengh campaign.
- The story will have place 500 years before convocation and focus on loyalists vs rebelion conflict.
- There is not release date yet. Howether it's planned for 2017.
2. RTS PART.
- There will be 3 playable races: Humans, Elves and Orcs. More can appear later in uture expanions/DLCs.
- The map will be devided on sectors. You have take a control over the sector before being able to build on it. You can control sectors that are adjacent to at least one of your another sectors.
- Workers will be non-targetable. You just have a pool of workers in HQ and devide them into another ones, where they work. Workers that work for HQ are porters and deliver goods between different places.
- There are 7 different resources, but each race will be able to gain only 5 of them: wood, stone, iron, food and racial resource. Racial resources are aria for humans, lnea for elves and black ash for orcs.
- Each resource have to be "mined" first and then converted to usable form. Then its able to be transported to place when its need.
- Each race will have 4 basic combat units that will counter each other and several more unique units as well.
3. RPG PART.
- Player will create its avatar, choose its gender and apperiance. Avatar is always human.
- Player can also control up to 3-4 heroes. Each of them have its own story, can level up and be developed by player. One hero can have up to 3 skills on its bar.
- Player can develop his character by choosing 1-3 of 7 skill trees/classes. So he can focus more on one tree or be more hybrid character.
- Atribute points will return. there will be 5 of them: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Constitution and Willpower.
- There will be a lot of items. There is more focus on specialized items by resistance and counter mechanic, so player have to keep many items (like weapons) and swith them depending on situation.
- Fallen heroes can be resummoned in special Menhirs.
- Confirmed skill trees are: Marauder, Paladin, Archer, Elementalist, White Mage, Black Mage. Seventh one is propably related to economy. Class name is depending of combination of these trees.
- Avatar and heroes will have lesser impact then in prevous Spellforce games on RTS mode. They can shine on special dungeons, where their troops can't get in and provide some classic RPG / H&S feel.
4. MULTIPLAYER.
- Multiplayer focus on special online platform called "Spellforce.net" and there will be saved all your progress and avatar/s.
- There will be co-op campaign, where you can play the original story with your friend or two.
- There will be free mode and multiplayer PvP, similar to classic ones.
- There will be special Dungeon mode when your avatar and the avatars of other player will cooperate to clear a dungeon and kill the boss to gain an experience and grab loot for your avatars.
- there will be propably special MOBA-like mode, when two teams of heroes/avatars will fight on map with several lanes and AI controlled troops.
